Kayak  Trip

Come out and enjoy a great day paddling through the Pine Barrens down the Wading River.  Afterwards, there will be an optional (on your own) outing for cocktails and dinner at the nearby Sweetwater Casino, which is located about 12 miles south.

This trip will open at the May, June, and July meetings until it goes.

Time:                Arrive between 9:15 and 9:40 AM to check in

                        We will depart on shuttles for the launch site at 10:00 AM.

Duration:          Will poll at sign-up.  We’ll go as a group on either a 3-hour or 4.5 hour

                        trip.

Cost:                $28.00 Members

                        $30.00 Non members

                        The above includes kayak rental and transportation to/from the river.

                        Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult (no price difference).

Bring:               sunscreen, insect repellent, sunglasses/straps, old sneakers or flip flops,

                        water-tight bag, light lunch and water or juice (no glass bottles), towel and

                        change of clothes for afterwards.

                        There are both clean rest rooms and changing rooms at Pine Barrens

                        Canoe Rental.
