Application Instructions

Membership in the club is required for all events with limited availability and you must be at least 21 years old to join. Events with unlimited availability are open to everyone. These usually include summer events such as hiking, biking or softball. All are welcome at these events as well as at the GENERAL MEETINGS to see what Fall Line Ski Club is all about.

Membership in the club is a yearly membership which starts May 1st and ends April 30th. The cost of membership is $25 prior to our Snoball event which occurs the first Friday after Labor Day in September. After Snoball, membership is $30. Why we ask certain questions:
Questions such as DOB (date of birth), marital status and others are used for statistical purposes. No one else, other the the two people processing applications, ever sees this information. It is compiled to come up with overall statistics of the club. We constantly have prospective members ask the makeup of the club before joining. We are routinely asked the average age and other questions that can be answered by compiling this information. All personal information supplied is released on a need-to-know basis. For instance, a phone number might be needed by a trip leaded for a trip you signed up for but a DOB will never be given out except through extreme physical torture. DOBs are also important to keep on file since the club does routinely have alcohol available and the club cannot take a chance that minors are signing up for the club. DOBs are also used for security purposes such as election time for people who wish the convenience to vote on-line.
