MS 150 Bike Tour

bikeCalling all Bike Riders........ Are you ready for a challenge?  Then join the team! September 25 & 26, 2010

We will be entering a Fall Line team of riders in the 30th annual MS150 City to Shore Bike Tour. Named by bicycling Magazine as the “Best Cycling Getaway in NJ” and it promises to be the best cycling experience on the east coast.

You will ride with over 7,000 cyclists of all ages and cycling abilities for the challenge of your choice with several route options.  Enjoy the flat terrain as you start in Cherry Hill and travel thru the blueberry fields of Hammonton, the South Jersey Pine Barrens and into the sweet smells of salt water taffy and ocean air in historic Ocean City.  We will spend the night on Ocean City and ride back on Sunday.  If you would like to ride Saturday “only”, there is a shuttle that will bring you back Saturday night.

The ride is fully supported with catered rest stops, stocked with fresh fruit, snacks and refreshing beverages, bike support and SAG transportation.  There are rest stops every 15-20 miles.

We will have a few team training rides, starting with around 20 miles and working our way up to 40+ miles.  Dates to be determined.  If you are interested, please email Jan Gonzales at skigirl312@verizon.net or call at 609-707-0445.

You can sign up for this ride online by going to:  www.MSCYCLING.org

There is a $35 registration fee until 6/24 then it goes up to $45 until 8/26 then up to $50.  All riders are also responsible for raising a minimum of $300 in donations to participate.  Ask your employer, friends and co-workers if they will sponsor you, you’ll be surprised how quickly you can raise this amount and more.  It’s all for a great cause; this money goes directly to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
